When it comes to motorcycle accidents you’re talking about one of the most serious types of accidents that can occur related to moving vehicles. Motorcycle accidents usually result in very serious injuries if not fatalities. According to the National Center for Statistics & Analysis in 2005 4,553 motorcyclists were killed with an additional 87,000 injured in the United States; these means 5% of all motorcycle accidents result in death. Unlike common belief, less than one forth of all motorcycle accidents aren’t due to negligence of the motorcyclist. Majority of the people involved in motorcycle accidents receive serious injuries and the lawsuits related to motorcycle accidents can take years to reach a verdict.

How does someone injured severely in a motorcycle accident financially support themselves during the long process of their lawsuit? One answer is a lawsuit settlement loan. Lawsuit settlement loan providers understand that a motorcycle accident can leave the motorcyclist severely injured and unable to work; in this same process since they are injured and cannot work it’s impossible for them to keep up with bills; including medical bills, mortgages, car payments, etc. Due to that specific reason many plaintiffs in motorcycle accident lawsuits seek settlement loans to get cash to financial survive during their pending lawsuit.

Your probably wonder, “What is a lawsuit settlement loan?”. It’s really a simple concept; it’s when a settlement loan provider gives you a monetary loan based on your motorcycle accident lawsuit. They review the case and speak with your attorney to see how sound the pending lawsuit is against the defendant and then determine how much money the plaintiff can be loaned. You can specifically ask for a certain amount in a settlement loan, or ask how much money you could be loaned if a lawsuit loan is required. This is a great option for a plaintiff who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident due to the negligence of another driver.

The absolute best part of a lawsuit settlement loan is the fact it is not really a loan. It is actually a non-recourse debt; this is due to the fact that if you lose your pending lawsuit you are not required to pay back the settlement loan. That’s right, you “ARE NOT” liable to pay back the money they provided you unless you “WIN” your lawsuit. Another interesting fact is your credit history, employment history and income do not play any role in the approve process of a settlement loan. So, if you’re in the middle of a motorcycle accident and need access to cash why not consider a lawsuit settlement loan. You can learn more about lawsuit loans for motorcycle lawsuit cases below.

Suzuki Motor Company was founded by Michio Suzuki. He had a very successful looming business when he decided to invest in the concept of motorcycle manufacturing in 1920. Suzuki didn’t take the motorcycle world by storm, in stead it was a slow and steady rise to success. There were a variety of motorcycle models that had moderate success. People began to take notice of the Suzuki line of motorcycles after their Diamond Free model won the Mount Fuji Hill Climb in 1953. In June of 1954, Suzuki implemented their trademark “S” logo that is still used today. They also put their years of observing the motorcycle industry to good use. 1962 saw them as the winner of the Grand Prix World Championship. Suzuki decided to begin selling its motorcycles in the United States in 1963. They have come a long way since that first introduction. Consumers quickly took to the models, finding them to be valuable and reliable. Suzuki introduced the X-6 Hustler in 1966, becoming their first street legal performance bike. At the time, it was also the fastest 250CC on the market. They followed the success of it with a 500CC model called The Titan. In 1969 Suzuki took the world by surprise when it introduced the GT750. This was a two stroke motorcycle that could reach a speed of 110 miles per hour. It was able to accelerate from zero to sixty in only five seconds. Since this motorcycle was so well received, Suzuki decided to make a larger bike with the same type of power. The RG500 became the most successful racing bike of that era. Suzuki continued to dominate the motocross racing circuit in the 1970’s, winning the World Motocross Championship in 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, and 1976. Due to tighter emission regulations, Suzuki had some stumbling blocks in 1976. However, they were successfully able to redesign their four stroke models to meet these regulations. They models also sold very well. Suzuki again make racing history with the introduction of the XN85 in 1982. This was a turbo charged motorcycle that won many high profile races. The first American to win the World Motocross Championship did so in 1982 on this bike. In 1986 they offered the GSX-R, also a turbo charged racer bike. What made it so original was the aluminum frame. This made it the lightest motorcycle in its class. In addition to selling large quantities of racing bikes, Suzuki has done well in the cruiser market as well. The Boulevard model comes in many different sizes to meet the needs of the consumer. This is a very sporty looking model built to look great as well as to offer comfort. The five speed transmission allows the operator of the vehicle to remain comfortable regardless of the riding terrain. The body of the Boulevard model allows for a smooth ride regardless of the speed at which you are traveling. This model is one of the top selling cruisers out there as well as the best price with the 2007 models priced around $13,000. Each one comes with a 12 month unlimited warranty that can be extended. Suzuki offers the best warranty of any motorcycle manufacturer with unlimited miles, no deductible, reimbursement costs if the motorcycle breaks down, rental vehicle reimbursement, and the remainder of the warranty is transferable should you decide to sell your motorcycle during the warranty time frame. Today, Suzuki is in the top four motorcycle manufacturer’s world wide. They offer a wide variety of street, off road, and racing motorcycles to choose from. You can find Suzuki motorcycles at more than 1,600 dealerships around the world. They are well known for offering style, comfort, and speed with hundreds of different models to choose from. They are also among the top sellers because the models are very attractive, the price is very reasonable, and they stand behind their products by offering an excellent warranty.

Most of us have ridden on a motorcycle at one time or another. The idea for their design came from the development of the bicycle. I guess people were looking for a faster way to move their bicycle along, or perhaps one that wasn’t as physically exerting for them. The first motorcycle every made is credited to Gottllieb Daimler in 1885. This gas powered motorcycle was basically a gas engine attached to a standard bicycle. However, Gottllieb decided not to pursue making motorcycles and choose instead to focus on manufacturing cars. During this time period, many other individuals were also tinkering with the motorcycle concept. A couple of the men behind this experimenting were William Harley and Arthur Davidson. You guessed it, the dynamic duo behind the amazing line of Harley-Davidson motorcycles that have become popular all around the world since 1903. People were very interested in this convenient mode of transportation because it was very economical. The public loved the idea of motorized transportation, but cars were still more expensive than most people could afford. However, some people soon realized that they would need to purchase a car instead of a motorcycle in order to transport their entire family. A few of these motorcycle pioneers were able to successfully establish companies such as Harley-Davidson. However, many never had the money to start the venture properly and make it prosperous. Others left to go fight in the war and still others went bankrupt trying to market their motorcycle ideas during the Depression. One downfall to motorcycles in the 1950’s is that you had to have a great understanding of mechanics to be able to operate one. The American bike manufacturers didn’t pursue making advances in that department until they started facing competition from Japan. They developed the electric start system that motorcycles offer today. This important feature allowed motorcycles to transform from small mopeds and scooters to powerful machines. American motorcycle manufacturers did not see Japanese bikes as a threat, but this was as serious miscalculation on their part. It didn’t take long for American manufacturers to realize that they were losing consumers to the Japanese market. This lead to the introduction of many new models to prevent them from losing more of the market. Baby boomers continued to purchase Japanese bikes as they offered more power and were sold at an excellent price. Motorcycles have certainly changes since their introduction. Today, the market is saturated with brand names that are well known in the motorcycle industry. Each one offers a variety of models to choose from as well as unique styles and designs. Regardless of the type of motorcycle you are interested in, you are sure to find one with the features and power you are looking for. As the top motorcycle manufacturers continue to strive to come up with models that will please the consumer while out shining their competitors, you will have even more choices. As technology advances you will find faster, more durable, and less expensive motorcycle options on the market. Harley-Davidson continues to be in the top position, selling more motorcycles than any other manufacturer. In fact, the majority of their bikes are sold before they even leave the factory. While they remain one of the most expensive motorcycle producers, consumers are willing to pay for the quality and the power behind them. When it comes to the motorcycle industry, consumers have come to learn that quality and reliability are more important than saving a few dollars along the way. A motorcycle is generally a large investment, and consumers want to be happy with the product they choose. The issue of brand name loyalty also comes into play with motorcycles. Since each manufacturer now offers a full line of different models and types of motorcycles, there is no reason why you can’t purchase both the brand and the style you are looking for.

Taking a motorcycle safety course is a very responsible action, especially if you are new to the concept of riding one. You will learn valuable information about how to properly operate your motorcycle. You will also learn about preventative issues so that you are less likely to be involved in an accident. Most insurance companies will also offer you a discount on motorcycle insurance if you have completed such a course. You will also be more prepared for the written and skills testing to obtain your motorcycle license. Taking a motorcycle safety course won’t benefit you if it doesn’t offer the necessary information. Don’t be drawn into a low cost course that is compacted into only a couple of hours. Since you will be spending a great deal of time on your motorcycle, it is important that you have a solid foundation of information from which to draw from. The instructors should be well educated in the areas they are teaching. Don’t be afraid to ask for credentials. Before you sign up for a motorcycle safety course, ask questions. Find out what the itinerary will be as well as if you will get a certificate upon completing the course. Make sure the information that will be covered is going to sufficiently cover all the areas. Find out how many instructors there will be as well as how many students will be in each class. Smaller classes make for a better learning environment. Talk to your friends, family members, and co-workers. Find out if they or their spouse has taken an motorcycle safety course. If they have find out when and who sponsored it. Ask them what they liked about it as well as what they would have liked to have seen differently. This can offer you a great source of information about the quality of a particular instructor. Your safety course should teach you about each part of your motorcycle. You will also need to learn about basic maintenance and emergency repairs that you may have to do while on a bike ride. You will want to learn about how the various road conditions can affect your motorcycles performance. Don’t wait until you are out in the rain or snow to find out how differently your bike handles. Since safety equipment is a vital part of operating a motorcycle, your instructor should help you will determining the right safety equipment for you as well as how to wear it properly. No motorcycle safety instructor should be allowing any member of the class to participate without the proper safety equipment at all times. Part of a good motorcycle safety course should include teaching you driving defensively. It isn’t simply enough to know how to operate your motorcycle. Keep in mind that motorcycles easily get into the blind spots of vehicles and large trucks. You have to be alert to the reactions of other people on the road for your own safety as well as that of those on the road with you. This is not a responsibility to be taken lightly. With more than 4 million licensed motorcycle operators in the United States, it is important that they have been properly trained in how to operate their equipment. One small mistake can lead to a serious accident. Learning the basic information as you start out operating a motorcycle will give you the best opportunity for it to be fun, memorable experiences for you. You can find out about motorcycle safety courses in your area by looking on the internet. You can also contact local motorcycle associations in your area. Many of them offer such safety courses taught by experienced riders as part of their commitment to the community and to their organization. You can also contact the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. While you may feel that you are qualified enough to operate a motorcycle without such a class, keep in mind that there may be valuable information that you never considered thinking about offered. If this isn’t a good incentive, then keep that insurance discount in mind!

The American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) maker and dealer of quality Suzuki parts last year launched the Suzuki LIVE Series (LIFE VEHICLES) – a line of brand-dedicated concept vehicles which are designed for people who enjoy and value life.

In connection with its “Way of Life” brand concept and to support the launching of the all-new XL7 and SX4, ASMC has unveiled four all-new “Suzuki LIVE Series” vehicles for 2007.

The Suzuki LIVE Vehicles were developed to cater to diverse types of people. The BaseCamp for instance, was designed for outdoor adventure enthusiasts; the Flix was for film and entertainment buffs; the Zuk for motorcycle and racing fanatics; and the SXBox was intended for avid gamers. The LIVE vehicles are put on display at various auto shows and lifestyle events around the country.

Suzuki’s Flix Concept Vehicle

After the successful debut of the SXBox concept in LA, Suzuki has taken the whole concept vehicle thingy to the next illogical extreme when they have created the Flix Concept vehicle. The Flix concept was derived from the XL7 cute ‘ute and is shrouded in lively colors, platinum trim and remarkable lightning system. This concept car was developed by the Carlab of Ornage, California.

One of the best features of this vehicle is the clamshell lid that opens up to catch various images from the roof-mounted projector. The Flix was outfitted to accommodate a 60 inch movie screen which serves as a moonroof. The Flix provides more of a drive-in movie kind of experience. And it can accommodate four passengers each provided with a specially crafted swiveling type of car seats.

The four passengers inside the car will simply have to swivel their non-DOT approved seats around, tilt back a little, relax and just enjoy the show. And to make the experience as theater like as possible, AV equipment including a THS/SDS sound system, hi-def DVD player, red LED door and a floor stripping was added to imitate aisles in a movie theater.

The Flix concept also comes with a projection system which can be positioned to display movies basically on almost any wall whether it’s on a side of a building, a billboard, etc. passengers will be able to enjoy their movie wherever they may be.

The Suzuki Flix is the perfect vehicle for people who enjoys the traditional drive-in movie experience and the great thing about the Flix is the fact that you can parked it anywhere and have a great time watching your favorite movies.

The auto industry has seen some of the coolest looking vehicles in the form of concept cars. These vehicles are not only made to catch the attention of auto enthusiasts but also show the direction that a company is going in terms of design, features, and performance. These vehicles are often found on motor shows where they can be viewed by car enthusiasts.

Nissan is one company which has taken inspiration from other industries and fused them with their concept vehicles. While these vehicles may not be available to the public, it is evidence that Nissan can design and manufacture such advanced cars. Two of their most notable concept vehicles are inspired by the Xbox 360 and Adidas. The Xbox 360 inspired concept vehicle is the Nissan Urge while the Adidas-inspired one is named the Nissan Note.

The Urge is a roadster which according to Nissan is “motorcycle-inspired”. This futuristic vehicle combines futuristic driving and realistic gaming. This is because the Urge concept can be used to play “Project Gotham Racing 3”. The concept car is the result of the partnership between Microsoft and the Nissan Design America Inc. The Nissan Urge truly combines gaming with driving since a person can play PGR 3 using the steering wheel, accelerator, and brake pedals of the vehicle. This is made possible by the hard work put into the design and construction of the vehicle by Nissan designers and Microsoft engineers.

The vehicle is equipped with the “Xbox 360™ next-generation video game and entertainment system from Microsoft” according to Nissan. The player can use the controls of the car while viewing the action through the 7-inch LCD screen that doubles as a rear view mirror when the car is used for actual driving.

This concept gaming car was unveiled at the 2006 North American International Auto Show. While this particular car is years away from production, it shows how car manufacturers are tuned to the ongoing trend among the new generation of car buyers. If this car is fitted with the same powerful engine used in the Nissan Z car and all its components such as Nissan distributor caps, spark plugs, and the like, one can experience an exhilarating driving experience both in the virtual and the real world.

The impact of the younger generation on the future design of Nissan vehicles is explained by Bruce Campbell, the Vice-President of Nissan Design America. “Nissan conducted an Internet survey of 2,000 eco boomers, a majority of which said technology and gaming are among the most important attributes in their first car,” Campbell said. “Xbox 360 offered the latest in technology and was already a favorite among this audience,” he added. According to the company: “A Nissan URGE driver can, for example, maneuver through the streets of New York, park the car and fire up the Xbox 360, then virtually race through the same streets using the same steering wheel, gas pedal and brake pedal – blurring fantasy and reality in a way that the automotive world has never before seen.”

Another Nissan concept vehicle is based on the mini MPV produced by Nissan for the Japanese and European market – the Nissan Note. The concept vehicle is inspired by German sports apparel manufacturer Adidas. The decision to design a vehicle inspired by Nissan is aimed to catch the attention of the younger generation of car buyers. The current fashion tend being sportswear like those created by Adidas, Nissan developed a vehicle that will embody the same traits that Adidas products posses.

One of the most notable characteristic of these products is the color that is why Nissan created the Adidas inspired Note with youth-oriented colors. To make the concept Note standout, Nissan designed “wearable” items for the vehicle. Of these, the seats are the most notable since consumers have the power to change the covers to match their preference or mood. Aside from this, materials used on sportswear like rubber are used on the vehicle’s interior.

While the Adidas inspired Note and the Urge Concept are just what they are, concept cars, their development shows what Nissan is capable of. Whether they will be mass produced is another story. But for those who love gaming, individuality and driving, there is reason to hope for a brighter future in terms of automobile development.

Since antique motorcycles are so old, it is hard to determine all of the antique motorcycle online shopping options that you might have to buy, sell or repair one properly. Some people might have a good starting point at finding the parts they need because they know the name of the antique motorcycle that they are shopping for.
Some people are not blessed with even this minute amount of information. They might have only an emblem to go buy that bears the name brand of the motorcycle. Many people have just a pre-conceived concept to go buy and assume that anything that old would certainly be worth a good amount of money. When determining antique motorcycle online shopping options, it might prove useful to send a picture of the emblem to a reputable dealer in antiquities for an appraisal.
That dealer might provide some antique motorcycle online shopping options that the owner never considered. The motorcycle owner might not know what they have in their garage without the helpful advice of a seasoned professional. They might ignore the machine for months and fret over the fact that they do not know how many motorcycles were made by that company. Perhaps if they contacted the company, they might be willing to shed some light on the antiquated piece of metal or the existing frame of the motorcycle that they believe is a highly collectible item.
Some people prefer to examine all antique motorcycle online shopping options at their disposal. They might want to find a copy of an antique motorcycle that their great-grandfather used to ride. The antique motorcycle might have been used during a War, or served as the eye-catcher that made your great-grandmother notice your grandfather so many years ago. Antique motorcycles hold a certain mystique for many star crossed lovers, and a replica would be just the thing for a 50th Anniversary present.
Some people simply enjoy reveling in the past accomplishments of machinists and motorcycle craftsmen. They are simply amazed at the large variety of models that were created and the slight differences in chassis, handlebars, and even the intricate spokes that were wrapped around the wheels. Some motorcyclists think that all antique motorcycle online shopping options should be explored because if they are not, then they might overlook a chance to view and own some mechanical masterpieces.
The antique motorcycle online shopping options for Harley Davidson might prove too expensive for some motorcycle enthusiasts, but it is definitely a thrilling experience when you are able to find antique Harley Davidson’s online. Some personal websites are created for such shoppers who place knowledge ahead of price. Instead of dickering on prices with an antique dealer, they would rather spend their time reading about the history of the hog they are interested in that was written by the person who has owned it for a great number of years. Knowing the history behind a certain antique motorcycle is half of the enjoyment in owning an antique motorcycle.

Since its inception, the Internet has brought us a number of exciting innovations, including the advent of a widely adopted business model known as Drop Shipping. The drop ship phenomenon has allowed business men and women to offer all kinds of products to a whole world of consumers without ever having to stock the first piece of merchandise.

The concept of drop shipping was neither born of, nor is exclusive to the Internet. Construction contractors, for example, would often enter into a special relationship with their appliance supplier to have a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher delivered directly to the building site, long before the world became so widely webbed.

What the Internet has brought to the table, along with the proliferation of alternative shipping methods like UPS and FedEx, is the ability for an entity like a website to promote and sell a single product, with the wholesaler taking on the responsibility of shipping the item to a third party (who already has a massive shipping facility anyway). The sheer volume of traffic to the site generated from the Internet is what makes this business model economically feasible.

Simply put, the drop ship process consists of the merchant selling a product at retail to the consumer, then buying the product at wholesale from the distributor. The distributor then ships the product to the consumer directly from the warehouse. The wholesaler charges the merchant for the shipping costs, which can either be priced into the product or passed on to the consumer. The consumer remains the merchant’s customer, and the merchant is the distributor’s customer.

A local bike shop might open up other avenues of revenue by establishing an Internet presence to promote the brick and mortar site, while offering an expanded line of motorcycle jackets to an audience that would never visit the geographic location anyway.

Having a physical presence however, is by no means a requirement for becoming a successful drop shipper. Many if not most of the leather shops you will find on the Internet are drop shippers. Many of the products you find on EBay and other auction sites are also being drop shipped. Craigs list too!

So how does the Drop Ship model benefit the consumer? Low, deep discounted pricing! Drop shippers do have their expenses, but nothing like the rent, or the up front stocking of merchandise that a brick and mortar shop has to deal with.

Drop ship agreements vary between wholesalers. While the merchant is able to purchase product at wholesale, the price is usually not as low as the price offered a retailer that purchases in bulk. Some wholesalers will also charge the merchant a Drop Ship Fee, not on each item, but on the box regardless of the quantity of items shipped. This is the “handling” in the shipping and handling charges.

Another charge you might find from a drop shipper is a restocking fee. This also originates from the wholesaler and is often passed on to the consumer in the case of a straight return.

Even with these extra charges, there is plenty of room for the drop shipper to offer low Internet pricing to their customers, and still make a decent profit.

The Drop Ship business model has opened up a new tier of pricing for the consumer, and has allowed authorized dealers of leather to break away from local and regional confines. Anyone that has the mind to can become a drop shipper, and depending on the effort put into it, the potential to grow a thriving business is there.

That said, it is incumbent on the consumer to practice due diligence to avoid the unscrupulous merchant or the fly by night web site.

Social Media opens up a brand new marketing frontier for small businesses of all types. Given the propensity of motorcyclists to join clubs, gather at rallies, and socialize amongst themselves, building a community of like minded bikers that offers entertainment, communication, and collaboration gives the leather merchant an opportunity to build lasting relationships with potential customers’ world wide.

A Web 2.0 motorcycle leather e-tail shop will usually take the form of a blog, with static pages being the basis for navigation, while the product pages are added over time as chronological posts. Each page and post is interactive, in that the visitor is invited to post comments on the content at the end of the page.

The consumer is now able to ask questions, comment about a product, give a testimonial, or note where there’s room for improvement right on the product page for all to see.

Customers are invited to collaborate by offering product reviews, stories of their own experiences, even suggesting things they would like to see on the site. For the merchant, the sense of community the people feel translates into a sense of trust, establishing the company and the customer as one on a level playing field.

A potential customer can subscribe to comments and to newly added posts via RSS feeds, or have the content delivered directly to their Inbox. A great way to stay informed about newly added products, what people are saying about a particular subject, or to keep up with an item they might be interested in as it comes back into stock.

From Motorcycle Leather E-Tail Store to Biker Site

Web 2.0 sites are all about building community, and as such you will find many leather shops expanding into more general fields of entertainment, adding articles, video, and news feeds on topics of interest not just to lovers of leather, but to the biker community in general.

Look for these sites to utilize all the other social media web sites as well. Staking out a presence on Facebook and My Space, joining and creating social networking groups, posting Video and Photos on YouTube and Flickr, and tweeting about things of interest to motorcycle enthusiasts all over the world are what broaden the audience of a Web 2.0 business.

These merchants of the Web 2.0 world may not want to post an address on their site simply because they do not want to be seen as local. After all, the entire world is their stage.

With all the forms and forums of communication available in the Web 2.0 format, some sites may not want to post a phone number. The concept of Web 2.0 dictates that questions and answers, comments and queries are posted for all to see, and are indeed themselves the seeds of discussion and conversation.

As a business person, the merchant of leather must be able to differentiate between the general community and the potential customer. Most e-tailers also understand that many potential customers want to hear a voice behind the product. In the interest of building trust, no reputable merchant would deny them that.

If you do not see a phone number on the site, use the contact form to ask for a private conversation, going in to as much detail as you can so the representative can do the research. Ask to exchange phone numbers, and they should reply with there own toll-free number.

The social media frontier calls for a new relationship between the company and the consumer. As the community grows, comments and replies by members take on a life of their own, generating threads of informative and entertaining conversations relevant to lifestyle and product alike.

The role of the merchant changes from salesman to moderator, as sales become generated by peers in the community itself. The Biker Leather Shop Web 2.0 style: If You Build the Community, the Sales Will Come!
